Preparing for punishment is a solemn duty indeed.
Whilst there is an element of anticipation, I cannot attest that there is any sense of excitement whatsoever.
Only those who have ever been truly punished will understand.
No matter how much I write about the differences between ‘funishment’ and punishment, there is always a staggeringly large percentage of spankos who simply do not get it.
Some things have to be experienced in order to be truly known.
Punishment is one of them.
This morning, post maintenance, I am to receive a minimum of 13 strokes of the junior cane for weight-loss failure and I am suitably petrified.
If you’re thinking ‘oh, it’s only 13,’ or ‘it’s only the junior cane,’ then might I suggest that you fall into one of the following categories;
i ) You’ve never received corporal punishment
ii ) You do not appreciate the difference between ‘funishment’ and punishment
iii ) You’re a hard-core masochist who finds pain erotic and pleasurable
The list isn’t exhaustive but I suspect I have made my point.
It is a lonely, lonely place preparing oneself to face a physical punishment. In this case, I already know more or less what will happen but this provides little comfort.
I have the misfortune of experience, hence I know how much it is going to hurt, for how long, where and there is no running away from it.
In this household, once sentence has been passed it will be carried out no matter what. Occasionally, in exceptional circumstances only, disciplinaries have been postponed but they are almost never cancelled.
You might recall that paddling that I waited almost 6-months for earlier this year as a fine case in point.
Boy did THAT one get inside my head.
I was practically dancing and begging for sir to stop before he’d even made contact with the first lick.
Unusual. But it happened.
April was the last time I was caned and herein lies its power. When one is very regularly caned the implement does lose some of its special power.
That power to cow, to instil genuine fear and to punish.
During times of heavy or regular cane usage, sir has to resort to supplementary avenues of discipline or to select one of his heavier canes.
He’s careful with his heavier canes though, he knows that they must be used sparingly so that they retain their absolute power and authority.
For example, Aunt Agatha, this household’s senior cane hasn’t ‘visited’ since 2020, if memory serves correctly.
I’ll do just about anything to avoid a session with my antagonistic Aunt and she really is my HoH’s super-weapon.
That and the threat of a birching.
There are a LOT of silver birches on our grounds - it helps that I see them every day.
I have so much to say on this topic of preparing for punishment, however I really have to go now as I am due in the library at 09:00 and it is already 08:55.
If I am late, I will be caned (more!)
Sir is warming his hands by the fire and I want to run and hide…
… see you on the other side.
Best (s)Wishes,

Sounds like it went as well as it could have done.
Well, you 'lived' anyway and of course you were sore! And grateful too. Which is as it should be.
Make sure you keep Agatha well away for many more years to come!
I hope that you feel better for it!
Good on you!
